Founded in 1992 as a forum for local Disaster Recovery and Continuity Professionals to exchange ideas, knowledge, and experiences, NEDRIX has grown into an organization with over 3000 members. As we move into 2018, and beyond, NEDRIX is expanding our services to dramatically enhance our benefits to membership by providing;
Members Only Website with Exclusive Online Resources: Members-only sections of the website provide access to a variety of resources, such as daily reports from government emergency management agencies, industry regulations, planning, operations and exercise templates, conference presentations, white papers, industry focused social media feeds and collaboration tools, exclusive vendor offerings, conference discounts and much more.
NEDRIX Notify: Members receive enhanced communications during an emergency, crisis or weather event. NEDRIX delivers detailed notifications using various delivery methods including telephone, e-mail and text for up to 3 locations that each member registers. These notifications provide the latest incident news and assessments from government agencies to provide members and their businesses information that can help response, recovery and decision making as an event impacts the community.
Public / Private Partnership: NEDRIX works hand in hand with state and federal organizations that directly impact the policies, emergency operations and public—private sector coordination associated with emergency management and business continuity. Through our shared partnerships, members receive detailed information and access to vast resources, as well as a direct line to government officials that are responsible for planning, response and recovery of the community.
Networking Opportunities: joining NEDRIX will deepen your existing business relationships and allows for making new contacts. Such networking goes beyond the exchange of business cards – as you attend conferences, participate in committees, or take a prominent role, you will forge lasting ties with others who have common professional interests and similar business concerns.
Education: update your knowledge or acquire new skills through seminars, workshops, conference sessions and courses with NEDRIX partners.
Local Knowledge, National Reach – NEDRIX has it’s root in New England, but members and presenters alike span the US with backgrounds in NIMS, ICS, Homeland Security, FEMA, and Professional Consultancies from large too small.
Employment Opportunities: Members will have access to our employment collaboration center. This area allows members to view current job openings in the industry, post openings in their company, and also post information about positions they are seeking. As a community of professionals, this capability provides members, and their companies, a great resource to find great positions and people for challenging positions in our industry.
