BPD Officers Arrest Suspect Wanted in Connection to Armed Robbery in Roxbury: About two weeks ago, at about 9:27AM, on Saturday, February 22, 2020, officers from District B-2 responded to a call for an armed robbery at 394 Warren Street in Roxbury. On arrival, officers spoke to the victim who stated that an unknown male suspect entered her store, threatened that he had a knife and demanded money. After stealing an undisclosed amount of money from the victim, the suspect fled the store on foot. Approximately two weeks later, on Friday, March 6, 2020, officers assigned to the BPD’s Fugitive Apprehension Unit located and arrested Sulyman Abdul-Shafi, 34, of Boston and charged him with Armed Robbery.
