At about 10:55 PM on Sunday December 1, 2019, officers assigned to District E-5 (West Roxbury) arrested Chancellor Stallings, 18, of Roxbury, on charges of Unarmed Breaking and Entering after responding to a call for a suspicious person in the area of 91 Baker Street in West Roxbury. While on approach, the officers were informed that the suspect was observed walking around outside a residence which is currently unoccupied due to ongoing construction. On arrival, the officers observed that several lights inside the home were being turned off and on seemingly at random. When the officers entered through an unsecured sliding door on the left side of the house, they heard the suspect running down the stairs from the second floor. The suspect then fled out of the home through the front door with the officers in pursuit. The suspect was apprehended a short distance away and placed in custody without further incident. The suspect is expected to appear in West Roxbury District Court for arraignment.
